General terms and conditions of sale

The sole purpose of this agreement is to book stays in guest rooms. Our guests will be given a warm welcome. The owner personally undertakes to provide holiday makers with everything they should need to make their stay enjoyable and improve their knowledge of the region.

In signing this agreement for a stay for a set period, the guest has no right whatsoever to remain on the property at the end of this period.

The booking becomes effective when the guest sends the owner a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of one night’s stay per room. The prices include all charges.

a) Cancellation prior to the stay:

• If the stay is cancelled 30 days to 48 hours in advance, the deposit is forfeited to the owner and the balance is not owed.
• If the stay is cancelled within 48 hours of check in, the deposit is forfeited and the owner reserves the right to claim or retain the balance owed for the accommodation.

b) If the guest does not show by 8 pm on the check-in date, this agreement becomes null and void and the owner can allocate the guest rooms to other guests. The deposit is forfeited to the owner who reserves the right to claim or retain the balance owed for the accommodation.

c) If the stay is cut short, a fee corresponding to the cost of the accommodation in its entirety will be retained by the owner. Any additional services booked but not made use of will be refunded.

If the owner should cancel the stay before the start, the guest must be informed by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by email.
The owner will reimburse the amount paid, without any prejudice to the guest’s right to claim compensation for any damage which may have been incurred.

The guest must check in between 5 pm and 8 pm on the day booked.
If the guest expects to arrive late, they must warn the owner.
